Coin cells
This battery uses specially treated manganese dioxide for the positive material and a lithium aluminum compound for the negative material. It also uses a specially formulated organic electrolyte that provides excellent discharge characteristics with low self-discharge.
Operating voltage 2.5V
The operating voltage is about twice as high as that of nickel-cadmium batteries.
Superior charge/discharge characteristics
Achieves 1,000 cycles at 10% depth of discharge
Large temperature range -20° C to +60° C
Stable operating voltage at temperatures from -20 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius.
Low self-discharge
The self-discharge at 20°C is no more than 2% per year. Delivers a nominal capacity of approximately 95% even when stored at 20 deg. C for about five years
By using an organic electrolyte, the battery has excellent leak resistance.
