Transient Voltage Suppressor Diodes (TVSD)

Transient Voltage Suppressor Diodes (TVSD) and steering diodes of the manufacturer ProTek Devices and Eris are silicon based protection devices. Due to their very short response time, pulse resistance and exact limitation of the voltage they are suited to protect semiconductor devices against ESD (electrostatic discharge), EFT/burst (electrical fast transient) and surge events. The low capacitance of these components also permit the protection of high speed data lines. Small packages and arrays save PCB space.
